Matta Fair to Offer 'Global' SIM Card - Malay Mail Online

APART from getting cheap air fares, hotel bookings and travel packages, there's one more
reason to make your way to the Matta Fair at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur this
year - to get a prepaid mobile SIM card for your country of destination in advance.
Bookings for the Global Starter Pack, introduced by Sedania Media Group on Tuesday, will be
available from as low as US$10 (RM 36) from travel agents at the Matta Fair. Allied to the Celcom
(Malaysia) Bhd roaming partners network, this service allows you to pay in advance for a prepaid
SIM pack that you'd pick up at your
destination airport. The service claims to offer cheaper rates for calls back to Malaysia
and also within the destination countries, compared with roaming charges.
This service can also be obtained later from all travel agencies and also via www.travelneeds2u.com, as
Sedania is now seeking to extend its service to all destination countries.
