Global Starter Pack Launched in Jakarta, Indonesia

Date of 1st October 2009 saw another milestone when the Global Starter Pack (GSP) was officially launched in Jakarta, Indonesia. GSP, a product of Sedania Travelneeds2u Sdn Bhd was launched successfully at the Ballroom of Grand Hyatt Jakarta.
This ceremony was successfully launched by Jacqueline Losung, the President Director of PTIdotTv Indonesia and witnessed by hundred of spectators including the travel agents that taking part in this program.
Priced at USD10, GSP is not just a SIM card. It is also a program where it integrates the product offered: a local prepaid SIM pack provided by the partnering telecommunications provider (Telco) of the destination country, whereby it is provided to the traveler upon arrival at their destination airport; as well as the service: front end integration between ST2u's web portal and Abacus Whiz for the point of sale, and back end integration with IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) providing a seamless and already proven billing and remittance solution to travel agents.
Currently, GSP is cooperating with some Telco in South East Asia such as Celcom (Malaysia), Indosat (Indonesia), Hello (Cambodia), M1 (Singapore), AKTEL (Bangladesh) and Viettel (Vietnam). This cooperation will continue to be developed further so to Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and others in the near future.
After this, tourists from abroad can use the GSP when visiting Indonesia. To do so, they can subscribe from a registered travel agent or directly subscribe through the web portal Sedania Travelneeds2u.
